Big news, Superior. Lacuna Massage has officially spread her wings and moved. You’ll now find me on the second level of the historic Badger Building, at 1225 Tower Avenue, Suite 207, right in the heart of downtown Superior. You can pop up the stairs or take the elevator. Still getting fully organized, but I am open for business now, and honestly, being surrounded by the local shops and businesses here already feels so much better than the quiet, out of the way spot I was in before.
I also finally have the space to offer some retail alongside your sessions. Look for incense, along with meditation and yoga accessories.
There is even a room dedicated to classes. I will be teaching Reiki and Paranormal Reiki classes there, and since I am NCBTMB board certified, other massage therapists can earn continuing education credits through them. Down the road, look for classes in Ayurveda Massage and Table Thai as well.
And I have some news about my services too. I have made the decision to retire Deep Tissue massage from my offerings. My own body needed that change. But please do not think that means losing out on real relief. Thai massage, which I have offered all along, works through stretching rather than deep pressure, releasing that same muscle tension without the bruising or soreness you might be used to afterward. You may notice little shifts as things settle back into place, which is your body’s own wisdom at work, not mine.
My hours at the Badger Building are Monday 12-5pm, Wednesday 2-8pm, Friday 2-3:30pm, and every other Saturday, 10-2 pm. Once ghost tour season wraps up, I will be adding more hours and another day to serve this community even better during October-May.
Even though I am by Appt. Only, I may be still organizing my space. So, if you are downtown Superior, stop by and say hello! I am so glad to be here for this new journey in my old stomping grounds of Soup-town. You can also book @ www.itslacunamassage.com
